Synthetic Aircraft Landing Trajectory Dataset for Oslo Airport
A collection of synthetically generated landing trajectories for Oslo Airport.
Research outputs
Synthetic aircraft trajectory datasets published openly on Zenodo. They are documented in deliverable D3.2, Synthetic ATM Dataset, and archived in the SynthAIr community.
A collection of synthetically generated landing trajectories for Oslo Airport.
Synthetically generated aircraft trajectories for multiple specific airport pairs across Europe. The dataset includes high-resolution spatial and temporal information for each trajectory, with key flight parameters such as latitude, longitude, altitude and time, along with synthetic identifiers for each flight.
Synthetic datasets in npy format generated with a TimeGAN-based model designed to capture a range of aircraft landing trajectories at Zurich Airport across different operational scenarios and environmental conditions. The trajectories are segmented in clusters, and a smoothing filter was applied to some of them.
The open-source repositories contain the models and pipelines used in the project, so synthetic data can be regenerated or adapted to other airports and datasets. A summary of the data sources explored during the project is available in the datasets repository.
